Here is our guide to the celebrities who reside in or own property in Cornwall.
1.Dawn French, Fowey
Chancellor of Falmouth University Dawn French bought a £3 million 40-room grade two-listed mansion on a headline outside Fowey in 2006 with her former husband, comedian Lenny Henry, and kept the property after they divorced in 2010. She is now the chancellor of Falmouth University.
She shared the residence with her second husband, Mark Bignell, who worked in the charity sector.
According to reports, the actress from the Vicar of Dibley will be selling her home in May 2021, but she will remain in Cornwall.
2. Gordon Ramsay
2015 saw Ramsay invest £4.4 million in a five-bedroom holiday property in the Scottish town of Rock.
It was the second most expensive sale ever recorded in Cornwall at the time of the transaction. However, real estate agents claimed that the house needed updating, and in July 2016, Ramsay was successful in his eight-month campaign to have the house demolished.
He was granted permission to demolish the structure and replace it with the main house and a smaller second property, which he is currently building.
3. Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan
After purchasing a home in Talland Bay, near Polperro, in 1998, Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan have been long-time lovers of the Westcountry. They have lived in the area since 1998.

Roger Taylor, Queen Drummer, was born and raised in Truro, and he spends a significant amount of time at his second house in Helford.
