Beyond COVID-19
Although Government guidance around COVID-19 is no longer headline news Coronavirus strains are still with us and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Of course, there many other seasonal viruses and infections that we may be more susceptible to as a result of lockdowns impacting on our natural immunities.
It is extremely important to us that our guests are reassured that we, as resident owners of The Old Bridge House, intend to continue providing a safe environment to ensure that you and all our guests enjoy the best and safest stay possible.
All who have visited The Old Bridge House before will know the lengths we go to in ensuring strict hygiene standards are maintained, however, following positive guest feedback, we are continuing with some of the additional measures originally implemented to combat COVID-19 in order to reduce risks to a minimum.
Here are just some of the steps we are taking to give you peace of mind whilst staying with us:
- Hand sanitisers will be available in Reception, Dining Room and Bar, please feel free to make use of these especially before serving drinks and try to avoid touching any items that you do not intend to use.
- All public areas will be sanitised regularly including stair bannisters, surfaces, door furniture, window sills etc.
- Frequency of room servicing will be reduced although essential cleaning and maintenance will not be affected.
- On arrival, we will share our daily plan to resupply towels, toilet rolls, refresh your beverage tray and cleaning. You are welcome to bring your own toiletries to reduce waste.
- We always provide new quality toiletries for each guest booking. Please feel free to take these away with you when leave.
Our sole objective is to keep us all in a safe, clean and healthy environment. We will continue to monitor Health and Safety advice from the Government and our Trade Associations so the steps outlined above may be subject to change without notice.
And finally, whether this will your first visit or the latest of many, we want to assure all guests that we are doing all we can to make sure your stay with us is not just safe but enjoyable and memorable.
