Located near Mevagissey, the Lost Gardens of Heligan was the seat of the Tremayne family for more than 400 years. At the end of the 19th century the gardens were at their zenith, but only a few years later were left to the brambles and ivy to creep in. Following a devastating hurricane in 1990, the gardens have been restored as one of the areas “Best Outdoor Attractions”
