This is a wonderful place to stay. I went down with Darren and Reece last summer, and we had a fantastic three days. I loved the honesty bar and the great breakfasts. Will we be revisiting the place? Only for the next 10 years, I imagine. Thank you, The Old Bridge House.

We had an excellent stay at the hotel - the hospitality and welcome was warm and friendly; the location was perfect for exploring Looe and the facilities at the hotel were excellent including the bar overlooking the harbour and breakfast the following morning.

Best Wishes,

Hi Everyone at The Old Bridge House,
I would like to say thank you for making Mum and Dads stay for their Pearl wedding Anniversary so special. They were made to feel welcome from the moment they arrived.
Mum said the hotel was spotless (and anyone who knows my mum knows that that is a big compliment).
The food they said was faultless and the presentation was picture perfect. They will definitely be returning and bringing other family members with them.
The webcam was a big hit too I had regular phone calls from them telling me too log on and there they were waving to me. Thank you again and best wishes to you all. Katie.x

Thanks Liz and Colin for another very enjoyable stay with you recently. Everything as expected, and your hospitality is just right. Good luck for the future and hope to see you again.

John & Yvonne Muscroft - Rotherham

We stayed for two nights in December 2008. Our only disappointment was that we didn't stay longer. From the point of arrival we were welcomed like old friends. Breakfast was just like the view from the bedroom window....brill, and the weather was just like when we were last in Looe in July.......wet and cold.
Thank you Colin & Liz we will definitely return.
John & Von

Liz and Colin

Just wanted to drop you a little note to say how much we enjoyed our stay in your hotel, being honest neither of us had stayed in smaller hotels - tending through work to always be placed in national chains - but your has won us over to the warmth of the hospitality and the the atmosphere, hopefully we will return in the not too distant future,

Judith

Debby Wiseman - Mandurah, Western Australia

An ideal location to explore Cornwall and for those of you without a car, you can get around using public transport quite well from Looe. Colin and Liz treated us like family and I would recommend The Old Bridge House as a relaxing, comfortable and affordable 'home away from home'.
PS Colin: We thought the heart shaped toast was just for us!

Chris and Graeme - Sheffield

We had an enjoyable 4 day break in the Old Bridge House Hotel.Liz and Colin made us feel very welcome.A good idea to have an 'honesty box' bar for buying drinks.Good location for the town centre and exploring further afield with a lovely view from our bedroom.
Well cooked beakfasts using excellent locally sourced bacon. The 'heart shaped toast' was a bonus reserved for specal guests so I was told.

Julia - Highworth

Just to say thank you to both Colin and Liz for being lovely hosts. You always make us feel really welcome and we very much enjoyed our few days with you.

Julia

Julie Rhodes - Bristol

Dear Liz and Colin
We really did not want to come home on Friday and would have been happy to stay longer. 4 days was not enough.
Your guest house is in a great central position with lots to see in the harbour from our bedroom window. The rooms are well equipped and spotless. (I know because I dropped a very small earring stud and had to perform a fingertip search under the bed!) And what a great breakfast. Had a super holiday in Looe, not least because of this splendid accommodation and hope to return one day soon.

Best wishes

Barry Page and Martyn Mitchell - United Kingdom

We had the most wonderful time this past weekend, The Oldbridge House not only met but far exceeded the expectations built up by the website. The room was fantastic with an incredible view and although our waistlines are not complaining our tastebuds are, at not having one of those wonderful full Engilsh breakfasts this morning. We will certainly be returning early next year but staying for much longer then a weekend, we shall also be letting our friends and family know about The Oldbridge House for when they next visit Cornwall. Thank you again for making our stay in Looe so special and we hope to see you again very soon.

Regards,

Barry and Martyn.

Our stay at the Old Bridge House was most enjoyable. We were welcomed to the house which is in a superb location with great views and perfect for absorbing the atmosphere of the town, the coast and Cornwall. The rooms were very well appointed and spotless. Colins cooked breakfasts are the most superb I have ever had, and that was an inventive treat; sticking a candle in sausage on my birthday. Thanks for great stay, if back in Looe we wouldn't consider staying else where, so long as we can get in.

Paul thompson - United Kingdom

What an excellent location to spend a few days. The atmosphere is rather like sitting at home with your best mate. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast well worth waiting for, it will keep you going all day. If you can get a room with a river view, you will be amazed how lively the place is, with fishing and sail boats coming and going. Liz and Colin really do make you feel welcome and sitting in the bar at night, overlooking the river after a meal in the quaint town is just ideal. We will return. ( Liz you really need to help Colin get over his painful shyness !! . thanks for agreat long weekend Paul and Jan
